Starting to Happen
I can say now that things are starting to happen for me. By that I mean, I have a business opportunity and some action on the dating sites I joined. I am in training to become a 'virtual call center' from my home, where I take customer service calls from large companies. Its not a scam - I think. But it requires an intensive learning curve, and lots of dedication. Its just what I have been looking for - a home-based business.
On the dating front, I connected with a cool guy who works in the same industry my husband does, but in a different town. He almost looks familiar to me. Anyway, he expresses himself in email well, is very forthcoming and self deprecating. I hope to meet him soon. Finally figured out how the dating site is supposed to work. I may have missed some opportunities from not knowing.
So, things are looking up, and the days are getting longer. Seattle still has several storms each week, but the sun does pop out every now and then. That's when I try to take a walk with my dog. He waits by the door until its time to go. Sometimes I let him out, and he looks back at me though the window to see if I am coming. Afraid its a waiting game for him.
Its been a waiting game for me, too. Isn't that what life demands? I am making strides in curbing my impatience, and trying not to smoke.
All in all, things are good.
